Made from Superstretch Aquatherm. A lightweight,waterproof, durable, material - the hatch covers feature a static drawstring with pull cord to lock cover in place. 

The fabric’s outer surface is 20 times more abrasion resistant than neoprene. Aquatherm deck fabric has 360 degree stretch, instant memory return, and has 80% less volume and weight compared with traditional neoprene products without compromising performance. It is comfortable, durable and supple, UV stable, waterproof and fast drying. 

Soft hatch covers should have a hard cover over the top to prevent implosion if hit by a wave.

Standard 8", 10" round and 16 & 17" oval hatch covers are available. For other sizes use this page and send a template (see Youtube instructions) - custom orders may take up to 4 weeks.

Hatch rim Dimensions: Please include the make and model of your kayak as well as the cockpit length and width. You will need to measure the length and width to the outer rim of the hatch. These details should also be written on your template.
